As a Bosnian-American, I cannot understand how the world can keep watching the destruction of my people. I have sympathy for the Jewish people at the time of World War II. The Bosnian people are going through the same thing.

When I see the trains full of women and children crying, it reminds me of World War II Nazi movies, The Bosnian Holocaust.

I haven`t received any news about my family, but I know that my father and my brother are on the front lines defending their house and land.

On one side Serbians have aircraft, tanks and rocket launchers. On the Bosnian side, there are only little-armed people defending their homes.

I think it is time to lift the arms embargo on Bosnia, and give weapons to Bosnian people to defeat the aggressor. That way the U.S. will not have to risk the lives of American soldiers.

I am just one voice of the 40,000 Bosnian-Americans who would be willing to fight for this country.
