A sewer backup in a section of Woodfield Mall on Sunday caused two restaurants to close early and affected several stores, general manager Jim Linowski said.
A toilet backed up about 1 p.m. and was cleared by 4:15 p.m., Linowski said. Tenants affected were asked not to use water Sunday afternoon, causing two restaurants to close at 4:15 p.m. rather than the usual 6 p.m.
