It seems certain readers are upset about the Tribune`s ”quick criticism” toward Serbian aggression. We suppose that when one is used to being considered the ”good guy” and calling others the ”bad guy,” one can get accustomed to the idea. Prior to this war, for example, the Tribune rarely forgot to mention how the Croatians were part of a fascist regime responsible for the deaths of thousands during World War II. However, those reports were upheld by the same government and people who are killing today. In addition, thanks to modern technology (the video camera), the public can see for itself who the aggressor really is.
Today, the Tribune is merely stating the facts about Serbia. If those readers don`t like what they read, perhaps moving to Serbia and reading Serbian newspapers will satisfy them!
