The McHenry County Historical Society Museum will hold its 15th annual Apple Cider Festival today.
Visitors can see the museum`s antique cider press in operation, spinning demonstrations, sample cider and donuts and see antique tractors.
In conjunction with the festival, a drawing for the McHenry County Historical Society Museum`s handmade quilt titled ”Illinois” will be held Oct. 28 at the museum. The drawing will be highlighted by a presentation titled ”Early American Coverlets” given by collector and lecturer Mary E. Miller.
The festival admission fee is $3 for adults, $2 for senior citizens and students. The festival will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at the museum at 6422 Main St., in Union. For more information call 815-923-2267.
