Dorothy Hunter Higgins, 81, a former special education teacher in Chicago public schools, died at home in Oak Brook on Monday. Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Keenan and Sheila Botti, wife of Du Page County Board Chairman Aldo Botti; two sons, John and Michael; a sister; 12 grandchildren;
and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Elliston Funeral Home, 60 S. Grant St., Hinsdale. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 4th and Clay Streets, Hinsdale.
