Imagine looking into a computer screen and seeing yourself-but with different hair.
works like this: Pick out a handful of ”dream” `dos, then sit for a moment in front of a camera while a computer operator freezes your face onto a computer screen.
Now the fun begins.
Watch as the computer plucks your chosen styles from its memory, plops them on your head for you and spits out a print for you to take home-or straight to your beautician.
”It`s like a bad rug,” said one Loop physician in response to the too-blond wedge that now replaced her shoulder-length gray hair, compliments of Ultima II, which recently ran a hair-imaging promotion in Marshall Field`s State Street store.
But better a bad rug on a computer screen than three crying for three months, she said.
