The owner of the Grand Mandarin restaurant, 3099 Ogden Ave., told police someone stole her purse, which contained $1,750, from under a reception desk near the front entrance Oct. 5. A customer said three men and a woman were in the restaurant just prior to the theft, but left abruptly without ordering anything.
