A new Gallup poll shows that U.S. kids 10 through 14 think it`s more important to help less fortunate people than to get rich.

The study, done for Childreach, a group that offers sponsorship of children in poor countries, shows that 6 out of 10 kids would give up part of their allowances to help less fortunate children.

The kids said these are most important: 1. Family life, 2. Improving the world, 3. Individual rights, 4. Having the kind of home you want, and 5. Helping kids in need. Last of 15 choices was ”having a better lifestyle than your parents.”
