Acquisition: First Colonial Bankshares Corp. on Thursday signed a definitive agreement to acquire Hi-Bancorp Inc. and GNP Bancorp Inc. for about $24 million. Hi-Bancorp, with $87 million in assets, is the parent of Bank of Highwood, while GNP Bancorp, with $75 million in assets, is the parent of New Century Bank, Mundelein.
