Maybe card collecting is getting out of hand. Two McDonald’s employees and two others in Orlando, Fla., have been charged with stealing basketball cards that are part of a giveaway at the fast-food restaurant. Special cards of the Orlando Magic, including superstar Shaquille O’Neal, are available only in the Orlando area. Police say collectors nationwide are buying the O’Neal card for up to $40. A sheriff’s commander was in a card shop when a McDonald’s employee, still in uniform, brought in a case of 1,500 cards; investigators say she’d arranged to sell them to a friend for $100.
