Milt Thompson hit a two-run single and Juan Bell followed with a two-run double in the third inning to lead the Phillies to a two-game series sweep.
Winner Danny Jackson (2-0) allowed three runs on seven hits, struck out four and walked two in 7 1/3 innings. Jackson, acquired Nov. 17 in a trade with Florida, won his second straight start after three consecutive no-decisions to open the season. But the Phillies are 5-0 in his starts, including two extra-inning victories, and average 6.8 runs per start.
