Ford Heights police said Monday they are pursuing several leads in the murder of a Chicago Heights man whose body was found stuffed in a garbage can in a junkyard.
Police Chief Henry Bey said the body of Willie Clark, 44, of Chicago Heights, was found Friday afternoon by an employee of a junkyard at 17th Street and Greenwood Avenue.
Bey said Clark’s foot was seen sticking out of a small garbage can in the junkyard’s parking lot.
