Ford agreement: Unions representing 23,000 workers at Ford Motor Co.’s U.K. unit have agreed to a 2.5 percent pay increase for 1993 and at least 3.5 percent from next year, Ford said in a statement. Ford workers have to approve the settlement but probably will accept it, union representatives say. A vote on the settlement is scheduled for next week at Ford plants across Britain. Ford is satisfied with the settlement, said John Gardiner, a spokesman.
