Lyons Township: West Chicago secured the title by knocking off Homewood-Flossmoor 53-49. Robin Westrom led the Wildcats (4-1) with 15 points, Julie Kramer posted 11 and Carey Netzel added 10. Sarah Weaver led H-F with 16 points. . . . Lyons (1-3) took second place with a 56-43 victory over Prospect (1-3). Sophomores Kelly Byrne (18 points, 10 rebounds) and Kelly Maley (16 points, nine rebounds) led the Lions’ attack.

Richards: Syleena Thompson scored 13 points and Michelle Dickens added 11 as Thornridge dumped T.F. South 63-32. Jenny Swies led South with 13 and Kristine Kooy 11.

Andrew: Theia Hudson scored 22 points and Kay Morgan added 16 to lead No. 14 Bloom (6-0) past Andrew 67-52 for the title. Jill Carpenter led the host Thunderbolts (4-1) with 22 points while Sara Seebruch chipped in with 16. . . . Jackie Gomez and Donna Perkins each scored 16 points to help lift Thortnon Fractional North over Tinley Park 58-42.

Crossover Classic: Branda Woods scored 25 points, including a 4-for-5 performance from the three-point line and earned MVP honors in leading Phillips (5-1) to a 68-34 victory over Prosser (4-1) for the title.

Maine South: No. 6 Libertyville (4-0) broke open a close game in the fourth quarter en route to a 61-43 victory over Maine South for the championship.

Kelly Karl paced the Wildcats with 13 points and Julie Virtan and Sarah Weiss added 13 and 10, respectively. Joy Pavichevich led Maine South (4-1) with a game-high 17 points. . . . In the third-place game, Cherise Compobasso poured in 19 points as Buffalo Grove (2-1) tipped Lake Park (2-2) 53-45.

Hinsdale South: Tanya Moore deposited 19 points and dished off seven assists, but Rebecca Price made the play that counted as Rich East nipped Riverside-Brookfield 55-53.

Price, who finished with 11 points, grabbed her 10th rebound of the night and registered the put-back with :04 in the game to lift the Rockets (1-4).
