De Paul: Dave Dopek, a junior from Bolingbrook, won the 200-meter dash in last weekend’s Illinois invitational track meet at Illinois State. Dopek’s time of 21.7 seconds made him a provisional qualifier for the indoor NCAA championships. De Paul finished fifth among six schools in both the women’s and men’s divisions of the meet.
The women’s basketball team seeks to improve its 3-10 record with three home games this week: at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday against Wisconsin-Green Bay, at 7 p.m. Thursday against Cincinnati and at noon Saturday against No. 2-ranked Tennessee in a nationally televised game.
