A 36-year-old Mundelein woman was arrested last week for leaving her 3-year-old son barefoot and without a coat in her car, which she had parked in the Burlington Coat factory parking lot, 920 S. Milwaukee Ave. Sheila Bruner, 1334 Marlbough Ct., was charged with child endangerment, reports said. Police discovered the child crying and honking the horn in the car Thursday evening, reports said. Bruner was located inside the store where she reportedly had been for 40 minutes, police said. The temperature outside was about 3 degrees, police said.
