Cohen Realty Services has added three to its roster. The real estate firm has named Jeffrey A. Hagerman senior real estate analyst. He was formerly a senior real estate analyst for Draper & Kramer Inc.

Also at Cohen, Thomas A. Lithgow, formerly an asset manager for Metropolitan Structures, and Scott H. Miller, previously an officer of VMS Realty Partners, were appointed project directors.

The company, which represents investors with property and asset management and real estate consulting services, is an affiliate of Cohen Financial Corp., a commercial real estate finance and investment company.

– Norman Perlmutter, chairman and chief executive officer of Heitman Financial Ltd., was elected to the board of directors of United Asset Management Corp. The Boston-headquartered company provides investment management services, primarily to institutional clients.

– James M. Kinney was promoted to president of Rubloff Residential Properties. He joined the company in 1984 and has been listed among Chicago’s top 20 real estate brokers for several years by Condex and the Northside Real Estate Board.

– Thomas J. Marthaler was elected vice president at Chicago Title and Trust Co. He has held a number of positions since joining the company in 1981, most recently assistant vice president and portfolio manager/analyst. He will continue to report to Fred Engimann, vice president and senior portfolio manager/fixed income.

– The Home Builders of Greater Chicago appointed Judy Gardner to the board of directors of the Home Owners Warranty Corp. of Greater Chicago. She is vice president of sales and marketing for Joliet-based Leach Homes and hosts “R.E. Views,” a real estate talk show on WCTV in Will County.

– Barry D. Kaufman was appointed divisional vice president-real estate for Sears Merchandise Group, Hoffman Estates. He was formerly senior vice president of May Realty Inc., responsible for real estate for Lord & Taylor and Kaufmann’s.

– Weybridge Capital Investors Inc. has been formed by Robert A. Glaze. The firm will specialize in the investment, management and syndication of commercial real estate. Glaze was a general manager of acquisitions and sales with Prudential Real Estate Investors, and has previous experience in commercial banking.

– Near North National Title Corp., a subsidiary of Near North Insurance Brokerage Inc., promoted Shirley Scott from senior construction escrow officer to vice president of the construction escrow services.

– The John Buck Co. appointed Susan S. Merz general manager at 515 N. State St., the property which serves as American Medical Association headquarters. She was previously an investment manager for the specialty funds group at LaSalle Partners.

– Principals Sharon L. Fabian and John A. Garbossa were promoted to executive vice presidents of U.S. Equities Realty Inc. Both joined the real estate company in 1984, Fabian from the law firm of Sidley & Austin to oversee the marketing of One Financial Place, and Garbossa as project manager for 20 N. Michigan Ave., the landmark building that is the company’s headquarters.

– Deloitte & Touche Realty Consulting Group promoted Petr L. Spurney and Matthew S. Szuhaj to senior consultants in the Chicago Practice office.

– Victor Ortiz joined The RREEF Funds as Midwest regional manager for the apartment group. Previously he was with Draper and Kramer.

– Vince Ory joined Realty Executives Realtors, Naperville.

– Amy Eick was promoted to account representative, Bloomingdale/Bensenville area, for First American Title Insurance Co.

– Cushman & Wakefield Inc. named Christopher J. Charnas to the Industrial/Technology Group leasing staff of its Rosemont office. Previously Charnas was an industrial property specialist at Corporate Realty Advisors and a trading assistant at the Chicago Board of Trade for Drexel Burnham Lambert.

– Jody S. Paley joined James Kaplan Cos. Inc. as a retail property manager. She was formerly a property manager with Centrum Properties Inc.

– The Northwest Suburban Association of Realtors recently held its 50th anniversary installation ceremony. Chloe Herman, a realtor associate with Re/Max Suburban Inc. in Mt. Prospect, was installed as 1994 president; Carole O’Neill, president-elect; Anthony Saviano, treasurer; and Edward Wlodarczyk, secretary.

United Development Homes Inc. appointed Deborah A. Cocanig as sales manager at its Bristol Park community in Tinley Park; Alan Houston and Jim Wayman were named sales managers for the developer’s Willow Lake community in North Aurora.

Daniel S. Urben returned to the Carillon planned lifestyle community as sales director. The community, located in unincorporated Will Co. between Plainfield and Romeoville, is managed by Malcolm Development Group Inc. Chester S. Moskal, veteran builder/developer and current president of the Home Builders Association of Illinois, joined Carillon as project manager.
