Police are investigating a report of a break-in Monday morning at an apartment in the Vacation Village complex, 6800 State Park Rd. A resident told police that his apartment door was forced open and $8 in change was taken, police said. A half-empty bottle of vodka was left by the burglar, but police were unable to take a fingerprint because the resident poured the liquor out, police said.
