Thanks to Ellen Warren for her inspiring story on Elias Estrada at Mitchell School (June 12). That story has stimulated me to do something I have thought about for the last few years. That is to redirect my 45-year-old habit of contributions going to many large worthwhile charitable organizations who have targeted me for funds to more small, dedicated, hard-working and inspiring individuals who do not target me for funds. I feel very good about this change in philosophy.
