Police arrested an 18-year-old Montgomery man last week after he apparently stole a car and tried to escape police, according to police reports. Kevin Brian Fifer of 1770 Deer Run Drive was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and resisting arrest after an officer tried to stop the driver of a 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo that had been reported stolen. The driver reportedly abandoned the car and tried to run from police but was caught several minutes later in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue.
