German luxury carmaker BMW plans to undercut rivals Mercedes-Benz and Porsche next year by launching a new sports roadster costing $28,520, German motoring magazines reported. The company has said it will launch a two-seat, soft-top sports car built in the United States next year, but it refused to comment on the price or launch date.
