In announcing its opposition to the stated goals of the upcoming UN population conference, the Vatican declared, apparently without irony, that the future of humanity is at stake.
True enough. Unfortunately, the Vatican has decided to oppose those goals, coming down instead on the side of overpopulation, starvation and environmental destruction. That is not the future I want for humanity.
