In a move that shook Hollywood to its shallow roots, the chief of Walt Disney Studios walked out in a huff, or at least a snit.

Labeled creative, successful and-for sure-ambitious, Jeffrey Katzenberg, 43, took a hike because he had yet to be named president and No. 2 executive at parent Walt Disney Co.

No. 1, Michael Eisner, has heart problems but appeared in no rush to promote a possible successor.

Smart money is being wagered that other entertainment conglomerates will vie to shower millions on the suddenly available Katzenberg.
