Jay L. Mann, 83, a longtime resident of the north suburbs, died Saturday after suffering at heart attack while attending the Northwestern-Notre Dame football game. Mr. Mann was a 1933 graduate of Northwestern University, and active with the Alumni Association. Mr. Mann, of Glenview, operated the Jaymar Alarm Co., a sales organization for fire protection equipment. Survivors include two daughters, Susan Buckman and Jayne Thompson; two sons, David and Neil; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at 5 p.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 1775 Grove St., Glenview, where a mass will be said at 6 p.m.
