Annabeth Brooks, 83, of Hinsdale, a retired nurse, died Thursday in Hinsdale Hospital. Mrs. Brooks graduated from Rush Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in 1929. She practiced as a public health nurse for the Chicago Maternity Center and at New York Hospital in New York City. She worked with Blue Cross and Blue Shield until retiring in 1973. Mrs. Brooks is survived by two daughters, Susan Day and Mary Ellen Christy; two sisters; three granddaughters; and two grandsons. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Union Church of Hinsdale, 137 S. Garfield Ave., Hinsdale.
