August D. Becherer, 90, a buyer for the Carson Pirie Scott & Co. store on State Street for 54 years, died Saturday. A native of Belleville, Mr. Becherer and his wife, Wilhelmina, lived in Elmwood Park for 54 years. Other survivors include his daughter, Mary Yvonne Richie. Mass was said Tuesday in Forest Park.
