A police traffic stop late Tuesday for a loud car stereo at Summit Street and Dundee Avenue resulted in drug and other charges against Terry Butler, 19, of 423 Fulton St., Elgin. Police determined he was driving on a suspended license and was wanted on a warrant on a domestic charge, police said. A search of the car revealed 6 grams of rock cocaine, police said. Charges include possession of a controlled substance.
