Charles E. Christiansen, 57, of Winthrop Harbor, a heavy-equipment operator for the Lake County Grading Co. Inc. in Libertyville, died Friday in Lake Forest Hospital. Mr. Christiansen was an Army veteran of the Korean War and lived in Winthrop Harbor for the past 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Elaine; a son, Raymond; three daughters, Barbara Maurer, Debra Stewart and Tina; his mother, Emma; and nine grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave., Libertyville.
