Apple Computer Inc. sued Intel Corp. and Microsoft Corp. for allegedly copying and selling a technology it owns that improves the quality of video in multimedia computer applications. Apple says the other companies used Apple’s QuickTime for Windows multimedia technology to boost the performance of Microsoft’s Video for Windows for their own gain.
