Two Aurora men were charged in the burglary last week of a pair of speakers from a vehicle parked in the 1000 block of Douglas Road, the Kane County sheriff’s office said. George F. Smith, 18, of 931 Hammond Ave., was charged with burglary and unlawful possession of a controlled substance following his arrest about 10:20 p.m. Saturday. The sheriff’s office said Smith allegedly was carrying 4.7 grams of cocaine at the time of his arrest. William S. Vinson, 19, of 903 S. Farnsworth Ave., was charged with theft by possession.
