Edith E. Blake, 77, of McHenry, died Thursday in Fair Oaks Health Center in Crystal Lake. She was born in Spring Grove. She is survived by her husband, Wilfred; three daughters, Jane Bastian, Jean Thompson and Linda Hill; five sons, Wilfred Jr., Ronald, Lawrence, David and Jeffrey; a brother; 18 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday in the Peter M. Justen Colonial Funeral Home, 3807 W. Elm St., McHenry. Mass will be said at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1401 N. Richmond Rd., McHenry.
