I find it hard to compliment a newspaper in these times of witless, wasteland journalism.
But I was reading the June 4 editorial page when, lo and behold, I found its top (Jeff MacNelly’s “Quayle II” cartoon) and bottom (the “True lies and presidential politics” editorial) to have said it all, said it well!
Surely, lightning would never strike twice!
