Robert E. Dillon, 53, of Cary, an international underwriter for Zurich American Insurance Co. in Schaumburg, died Sunday in a Springfield hospital. Mr. Dillon, who was born in Philadelphia, was the former director of umpires for Cary Youth Baseball and director of referees for the Cary Basketball Association. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; a son, Brian, and a sister. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Kahle Moore Funeral Home, Northwest Highway and Silver Lake Road, Cary. Services will be private.
