Lindberg Corp. said its second-quarter net income rose 15 percent, to $1.5 million, or 31 cents a share, from $1.3 million, or 28 cents a share, a year-earlier. Sales climbed 18 percent, to $31.4 million from $26.5 million.
For the first half of the year, the Rosemont-based metal-working supplier said its earnings increased 30 percent, to $3 million, or 62 cents a share, from $2.3 million, or 49 cents a share, in the first half of 1994. Six-month sales increased 43 percent, to $65 million from $45.3 million.
