Robert E. Day, 88, who belonged to a number of local groups, died Friday at his home on the Far South Side. Mr. Day served in the Army in World War II. Services will be at 7 p.m. Sunday in Zimmerman & Sandeman Memorial Chapel, 5200 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn.
