Deerfield tournament: Fremd (3-0) used a strong effort by Daryl Schaffeld (26 points) to upset No. 16 Glenbrook North (2-1) 60-41 and remain undefeated.

Julie Minuskin scored 17 points as Warren (3-0) handled host Deerfield (2-1) 69-37.

Schaumburg tournament: Glenbrook South (3-0) and Schaumburg (3-0) set the stage for a Monday showdown for the tournament title. Schaumburg rallied from a 27-16 halftime deficit with a 21-2 run and then hung on for a 42-38 victory over St. Charles.

Palatine pulled within four of No. 17 Glenbrook South with seven minutes left in the third quarter before a 10-point run put the game out of reach. Dana Leonard scored 27 as Glenbrook South claimed a 66-37 victory.

In other action, Wheaton North (2-1) led from the outset and eventually grabbed a 62-44 victory over Cary-Grove. Michelle Allured scored 12 and Jody Kammes added 10 for Wheaton North.

Barrington (1-2) pulled away from East Aurora, prevailing 56-33. Barrington won the battle of the boards 22-7 in the second half and outscored East Aurora 35-9 in the final two quarters.

Also, Naperville Central coach Andy Nussbaum cruised to his 150th career victory as the Redhawks (2-0) knocked off Hoffman Estates 58-28.

Dundee-Crown tournament: Dana Pierson scored nine points as Antioch (3-0) remained undefeated and advanced with a 42-18 decision over Streamwood.

Romeoville tournament: Lemont (2-2) trailed 23-22 at the start of the fourth quarter, but Lemont held Romeoville (0-2) to one basket and one free throw the rest of the way to post a 34-26 victory.

Conant-Wheeling Invitational: Tracy Schader poured in 17 points as host Conant (4-0) handled Fenton 61-19.

Hersey 66, Lincoln-Way 60: Abbie Willenborg notched 16 points and 13 rebounds to lead Hersey (1-1)).
