An Oak Park man was listed in fair condition at St. Therese Medical Center, Waukegan, after a steel beam weighing 275 pounds fell on his right leg Monday. Jacques Rogers, 41, was working at a construction site at Six Flags Great America when the accident occurred, Fire Chief Tim McGrath said. Rogers was standing on the beam, which was a few feet off the ground when the supports gave way, firefighters said.
