Paul J. Schenk, 29, of 1229 Cleveland Ave., Lockport, was charged Tuesday with motor vehicle theft, criminal trespass to a vehicle and possession of cannabis. The car owner had told police that Schenk took her vehicle without permission. When police stopped the car, they said, they found that Schenk had marijuana and that he was wanted on warrants for forgery and driving with a suspended license. He was taken to Will County Jail and placed on $10,000 bond.
