Police Sunday charged Timothy A. Newton, 18, of 5163 Coleman Pl., Monee, with possession of marijuana after being stopped for a traffic violation. He was also charged with failure to signal, disobeying a yield sign, driving an uninsured vehicle and failure to notify the secretary of state about an address change. He posted $100 bond and has an April 26 court date.
