Reynaldo G. LaFuente, 42, of 801 Jefferson St., Apt. 3, Elgin, was arrested in Huntley just after 11 p.m. Tuesday and charged with driving a vehicle without a front license plate, driving without his driver’s license and operating a vehicle with a suspended registration, according to a police report. A routine check revealed LaFuente was wanted on an outstanding Kane County sheriff’s warrant, authorities said. After being issued a notice to appear in McHenry County Circuit Court on May 13 for the traffic charges, LaFuente was handed over to the Kane County Sheriff’s Department, police said.
