Former South Dakota senator and Democratic presidential nominee George McGovern will discuss his book, “Terry: My Daughter’s Life-and-Death Struggle with Alcoholism. McGovern’s book is an account of his daughter’s battle with alcoholism that ended in 1994 when she was found frozen to death in a Madison, Wis., parking lot after collapsing in an alcoholic stupor.
