Suzanne E. Brennan, 62, a grammar school teacher in Northbrook Elementary District 28 for nearly 30 years, died of a heart attack Thursday at home. Mrs. Brennan, who grew up in LaCrosse, Wis., came to the Chicago area as part of the Ivy Five, an a capella singing troupe that she joined after graduating in 1958 from Clark College in Dubuque, Iowa. Mrs. Brennan retired from the Ivy Five when she got married, but she never gave up performing. She sang in choir groups and regularly performed at community shows. Survivors include by her husband, James; two daughters, Kelly Ann and Colleen Marie; a brother, and a sister. Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Norbert Catholic Church, 1806 Walters Ave., Northbrook.
