Police charged a Trinity College student with theft Friday after a patrol officer saw him carrying a construction sign near the beach on Forest Park Drive. William Fucile, 20, of 2065 Half Day Rd., Deerfield, told police he took the sign from a road-construction zone at Deerpath and Mayflower Roads with the intent of using it as a dorm-room decoration, police said.
