Amoco Corp. and its Venezuelan partner Total SA have discovered medium crude oil at their Jusepin tract in eastern Venezuela. The well produced 8,050 barrels a day during a test. Lagoven, France’s second-largest oil company, has a 55 percent stake in the venture, while Chicago-based Amoco holds the remaining 45 percent.
