No one was hurt Sunday evening and nothing was taken when two men tried to rob Jalisco Grocery in the 400 block of South Hinman Street, and a 12-year-old girl working there refused to cooperate, police said. The two entered the store, and one gave the girl a note telling her to “clear out the register,” police said. The girl screamed to her brother, the man grabbed the note back and the two men fled, police said.
