New Talent 2, an exhibition of works by emerging Chicago and other Midwest artists, opens Friday with a public reception for the artists at the non-profit Contemporary Arts Workshop, 542 W. Grant Pl. The reception runs from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
Featured artists include Patrick Bond, Mayumi Lake, Patrick Miceli, Laura Mosquera, Mary Linda Moss, Jennifer Signe Ratcliff, Keri Uffelman, Aaron White and Katherine Wimble.
The exhibition continues through Sept. 23.
