UPS said that regular and automatic daily pickup service will begin Wednesday. Requests for One-Time Call pickup service will be taken Wednesday for pickups beginning Thursday.
Service guarantees will be put back in place beginning Friday for UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS 3 Day Select and UPS Worldwide Express.
Customers with shipments in the UPS system can track them through the company’s Web site at www.ups.com, by calling 1-800-PICK-UPS, or through UPS’ on-line tracking software.
If the UPS tracking systems show that the package is in a local UPS facility, the company said that it is asking customers to wait for delivery or an attempt to deliver unless UPS calls first.
