Mark W. Simpson, 27, of 237 Wulff St., Cary, was arrested Tuesday and charged with domestic battery and criminal trespass to vehicle after he was accused of striking his girlfriend and taking her car without her permission. Simpson was also wanted on a warrant for a probation violation. Simpson was taken to the McHenry County Jail.
