Thomas Botheroyd, 74, a World War II Army veteran and prisoner of war, died Wednesday in his Carpentersville home. Born in Chicago, he was a 43-year employee of Chicago’s Streets and Sanitation District. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jeanette; two daughters, Lynn Perri and Sandy Schuster; four sisters; and a grandchild. Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Monica’s Catholic Church, Illinois Highway 25, Carpentersville.
