Dick Locher’s editorial cartoon of Sept. 6 was interesting as it depicted “celebrity” as an elk being chased by a pack of wolves labeled “sensational tabloids.”

I can’t help but think that a more complete portrayal would have been a fox (celebrity) pursued by hounds (sensational media), with a group of mounted hunters (the consuming public) following the chase.
